What makes a good CV?

Do you provide examples of work?

Should i include a picture on my cv?
The general answer to this is no, you do not need to include a picture of yourself. However, this may depend on the type of role you are seeking, so if you are in doubt please discuss this with your CV consultant.
When do i make payment?
As we operate an appointment base service, we take payment in advance. To confirm your booking, either proceed with the selected option online and we will give you a call to book a time for your consultation, or alternatively give us a call and we can take your booking on the phone.
What does 24hr Turnaround mean?
Our policy includes a 24-hour turnaround. This means that once you have had your consultation, we will write and send your documents to you within 24 hours. Please note that this does not include LinkedIn and Job Board submissions as we need you to confirm the accuracy of your CV first.
What documents do i need for my CV?
Generally, your CV is based on your employment and education history. This is why you will need the dates and places of your employment and education. During your appointment your consultant will ask you questions about your work history, so it may be beneficial to refresh your memory on the jobs you have done, including responsibilities and achievements in your previous roles. It is also useful to think the type of roles you wish the CV to be tailored for. You do not usually need letters of recommendation, certificates of education, etc. These will generally be presented to the recruiter at an interview.
Can you help me with a job application?
Yes! We regularly work on different job application forms for jobs ranging from graduate schemes to jobs in the public sector and multi-national organisations. However, as application forms can differ greatly in length, we will need to see the type of form to be used before confirming a quote. Can i meet you in office?
Yes! We provide in-office appointments as well as telephone consultations. Our office is based in London, near London Bridge underground and train station. The full address for our in-office appointments is 3 More London Riverside, SE1 2RE London.
Why do i need to pay in advanced?
Once you make a booking with us we commit to deliver the service to you on the agreed time. We also operate a 24-hour turnaround policy, so you will get your documents within one day of your consultation. To avoid situations where our clients miss their appointment and we end up out of work, we ask our clients to commit to the agreed time and make payment in advance. Please note that the time of your appointment can be changed minimum 24 hours before the agreed time for no additional charge.
How long will i wait for a consultation?
As a leading CV writing service, we need to book our clients in advance. However, you do not normally have to wait more than two days maximum.
